7 Bay Area Rocketship Schools Receive ERP Honor Roll Award

At Rocketship Public Schools, our vision is to eliminate the achievement gap in our lifetime. Though it is difficult, we are taking steps in the right direction, and our work does not go unnoticed.

Rocketship schools were recently recognized as 2019 – 2020 Educational Results Partnership (ERP) Honor Roll Schools for our high achievement in student success. This year, the California Honor Roll recognized 2,568 higher-performing schools in the state that are distinguished for their academic achievement and closing achievement gaps. We are proud to announce that seven Rocketship schools made the list, including:

• Rocketship Alma
• Rocketship Mateo Sheedy
• Rocketship Fuerza
• Rocketship Mosaic
• Rocketship Rising Stars
• Rocketship Spark
• Rocketship Futuro Academy

After an extensive analysis of student data for every public school in California, these Rocketship schools were clear leaders in getting students to grade-level and beyond. Our schools have demonstrated the ability to get students to grade-level achievement and beyond. Schools that receive the ERP Honor Roll distinction have demonstrated consistent high levels of student academic achievement, improvement in achievement levels over time, and a reduction in achievement gaps among student populations.

Notably, the ERP Honor Roll award establishes a high bar of performance and is conducted by Educational Results Partnership, a nonprofit organization that maintains the nation’s largest database on student achievement.

We did not apply for this award – our results led them to us! Because of our accomplishment, we are featured on the ERP Honor Roll website at www.edresults.org.

We are thankful for the hard work of our students, families, teachers, school leaders, and supporters here at Rocketship. This recognition is a testament to the sustained focus on academic results and commitment to student success that our school and parent community have shown over the years.
