Rocketship Parent: We Need More Options in Redwood City

We are proud Rocketship parents from Redwood City, CA. We have two children, a son who is nine and a daughter who is four. After watching our son struggle in district schools, we knew he needed to go to a different school where he could get more help and individualized attention. We chose Rocketship because it could provide a new and better education.

When we moved our son to a Rocketship school, he was two entire grade levels behind his peers — in reading, math, and writing. His teachers put in extra hours after school, helping him with his homework, and bringing him up to grade level, so he can now keep up with his peers.

The teachers at Rocketship are incredible. They are dynamic, full of energy and are incredibly prepared to help their students.

We need more options for schools like Rocketship in Redwood City. We hope that our daughter does not have to go through the same experience our son did, and that we can give her a Rocketship education right from the beginning. We know the value of a Rocketship education and the differences it can make for families just like us in Redwood City. That’s why we hope that the Redwood City School Board will approve Rocketship Redwood City.
