Shaunda Morrow is a native of Fort Worth, Texas with over 22 years’ experience in education. Shaunda has had instrumental roles in school turnaround work that resulted in sustainable change in the performance of organizations which dramatically increased student achievement in academics and school culture and climate.  Her educational experiences include ten years as an elementary classroom teacher and three years of experience as a middle school science classroom teacher. Shaunda came to Rocketship last year as the founding Dean of Instruction to become the new Principal at Rocketship Dennis Dunkins Elementary School. Shaunda embodies our core values and has already begun the work of eliminating barriers for our Rocketeers in Fort Worth and the Texas region. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and a master’s in education from Dallas Baptist University.
