Taylor Stern (she/her) was selected as a Rising Principal in the CA region in spring of 2022 and was recently promoted to principal of Rocketship Mosaic Elementary in San Jose, CA! Taylor joined Rocketship in 2019 as an assistant principal at Rocketship Legacy Prep in DC. Prior to joining Rocketship, Taylor served in various leadership capacities at Ingenuity Prep and Democracy Prep in DC, where she participated in the selective Leader U fellowship program. Taylor began her teaching career at a charter school and as a Teach for America corps member in Los Angeles and also worked in education nonprofit operations through Education Pioneers in Oakland. Taylor holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Southern California and an M.A. in Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University. Originally from California, Taylor is thrilled to be leading back in her home state!
